Juan Lopez is the Founder and Pastor of Tribal Praise Ministries, an international ministry established in 2002. Juan shares that the primary focus of the ministry is the teaching of lifestyle worship. He has been in ministry since 1987, serving in various aspects of pastoral leadership and ministry development, with an emphasis on worship ministry, leadership training and team development. Originally from Spain, Juan is an international keynote speaker and worship leader. Dr. Lopez travels throughout the nations bringing a fresh impartation of God's Spirit through his worship and unique teaching on lifestyle worship. He is the author of two books entitled, 'From Deliverance to Destiny', and 'Releasing Heaven on Earth Through the Power of Our Worship.' In 2012 Dr. Lopez was appointed as an Advisor to the U.S. Honorary Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi in Africa. In 2014 he received the distinguished 'Golden Rule International Award' for his work to bring honor and recognition to men and women around the world for their work in ministry, government, business, education and social justice. Juan leads a weekly set of worship in The Worship Room, a ministry of Bethel Church in Redding, CA committed to building a 24/7 worship and prayer room in the city that is centered around the love of Jesus. Juan and his wife Irene have been married for the last 30 years, and together they have 3 children.
Here at Tribal Praise Ministries we have but one purpose in mind: to teach and empower as many people as we can concerning the message of lifestyle worship, to awaken and know who they are in the heart of the Father, to think and believe with the mind of Christ, and to speak words of life with the voice of the Holy Spirit - encouraging them to live empowered, overcoming lives; living in such a way as to establish His Kingdom come, His will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven in their lives. As a ministry, we believe in the importance of 'equipping God's people for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God' (Eph. 4:12-13), and that is what we as a ministry are called to do. Because we were made the image and likeness of God, our lifelong goal and desire is to become more and more like Jesus in all that we think, say and do! According to Romans 12:1 we're instructed to daily make a 'decisive dedication' of our members and faculties (our mind, thoughts, eyes, ears, our tongue, hands, feet, etc) and do our best to make them well pleasing onto God, so that He accepts the results of how we live each day for Him as our reasonable service and spiritual worship. That's good news! 2 Corinthians 3:18 further declares, 'But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.' This is our heart and passion; to follow the mandate of Jesus when He declared in Matthew 28:19-20, 'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.'
The heart and passion of our music is likened after what we call 'Throne Room' worship (Rev. 4 & 5) as well as the prophetic flow as modeled in the 'Tabernacle of David' (1 Chronicles 16 & 25). Our praise and our worship is rooted in remembering the goodness of God, giving thanks for what He has done, and praising Him as we 'gaze' on the beauty of His holiness. It is both traditional and non-traditional, contemporary and non-contemporary in it's expression; intercessory, prophetic and apostolic in its nature. We have been privileged to travel the nations with the intent purpose of gathering hungry worshipers across the world so that together we might encounter God and His Presence, releasing His glory into every nation so that His Kingdom might be established on earth as it is in Heaven! We invite you to experience and enter in to this musical journey not as entertainment, but as a quest for the heart of the Father, the mind of Jesus Christ and the voice of the Holy Spirit. It is our hope that you will be enriched and drawn closer to Him and His Kingdom which is inside of you. Our passion and goal is.to reach people from every nation, tribe, people and tongue (Rev. 7:9-12) in order that we might become one sound and one voice resounding in praise across the lands!
Irene Lopez received her Masters Degree in Education in 1978 and served 31 years in Public Education. She served for 15 years as Principal over several schools, and during her last 3 years in Public Education she served as Director of Special Education & Pupil Services for Little Lake City School District in Los Angeles. She retired in 2010 and is now utilizing her many years of leadership development experience to help develop schools and effective leadership around the world. She has written a book titled, 'The Four Pillars of Kingdom Leadership' based on her many years of leadership training and development. She received an Honorary Doctorate in 2006 from Latin University of Theology for her many years of influential service in Public Education. She graduated from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in 2013 and presently serves on staff at Bethel Church with Global Legacy, a relational network that connects, encourages, and equips revival leaders worldwide. Dr. Irene Lopez brings vast knowledge and experience to improve educational structures and advance Kingdom influence.
